Proctored online exams that hold up to scrutiny

From classroom quizzes to international finals. Face detection, monitor controls, tab-switch logging, and optional screen capture — configurable per round.

How proctoring runs during a live exam

What you get

Face detection

Webcam-based face presence detection runs locally in the browser — no data leaves the student's device for the basic checks.

Multi-monitor block

Detect and block exam sessions on multi-display setups. Configurable per round.

Tab-switch + copy/paste detection

Every navigation away from the exam tab is logged and surfaced to the organizer. Same for copy/paste, right-click, and devtools attempts.

Screen capture (Elite)

On Strict mode, record the entire screen in 5-minute chunks. Watermarked, encrypted, retention-policied.

Strict + Lite modes

Strict (full proctoring + recording) for high-stakes finals; Lite (presence checks only) for classroom-level quizzes. Configure per round.

Reviewable evidence

Every proctoring event becomes a reviewable artifact in the organizer's grading queue — not a vague suspicion score.

How we keep recordings safe

Proctoring works only if students and organizers both trust how the evidence is handled. Here's the posture.

Watermarked recordings

Every screen capture carries a 64-bit watermark tying it to the student's session — uploadable evidence, not just a recording.

Retention windows

Recordings retained for the appeal window plus 30 days, then auto-deleted. Configurable per organization.

GDPR-aligned storage

EU-region storage available, student-visible privacy notices on exam start, export + delete-on-request workflows for student records.
